Exploring the island’s bakeries is a delicious way to experience local culture, every morning locals and tourists alike grab an iced coffee along with traditional Greek pies.

An authentic bakery with outlets in Parikia and Naousa, loved for its large selection of bread, cakes, French style desserts and traditional, freshly prepared hot dishes. It is a perfect place to enjoy a classic Freddo iced coffee, a favourite drink across Greece.
Xilofournos, the Wood Oven Bakery
Xilofournos (wood oven) offers fresh loaves, tiropita filled with cheese and spanakopita made with spinach and herbs. These savoury pies are perfect for breakfast or a light snack. Paros is now seeing more trendy coffee outlets spring up, which are popular hang outs for tourists, Xilofournos is a traditional and affordable bakery where you’ll find the locals every morning!
Antonis bakery in Naousa is another great choice, founded by Antonis Tripolitsiotis who trained at one of Greece’s leading confectionery schools, worked in prestigious hotels in Athens and then returned to Paros to bring together sweet, savoury & artisanal flavour.
From very early in the morning until late in the evening you can find fresh bread, puff pastries, croissants and homemade ice cream.
